The Berlinakc Tidende's correspondent Ja Berlin, describing the fighting which leguMed in a Government victory, states that Ebert'g troops on Wednesday beat off tie Spartacusans' attack on the 'Foreign Office, the battle raging till midnight.
In soatii-western and central Berlin the Government troops, assisted by aero,planes, bombed one railway station, and 85 persons were killed. Subsequently they attacked the Lehrter station, where the Spartacusans fired on an incoming train. The Government's sitiialion is improving hourly. COLLISIONS AND DISTURBANCES.
Amsterdam, Jan 9. Serious collisions occurred between Bpartacusans and Ebertites at Dortmund. The extremists occupied the newspaper offices.

Twenty thousand Brunswick soldiers, i&ilors, and civilians, armed with ma-chine-guns, marched in procession to the Ducal Palace, demonstrating against the Government The President of the Republic addressed the demonstrators, blaming the Government's weakness for the proawt chaos. Fresh Spartacus disturbances have oecurred in Dresden, Essen, and Munich.
A crowd entered the cathedral at Munich and destroyed valuable articles. Maay women were injured. The Independent Socialists in Berlin Bow regret that they left the Government, and are seeking to return as mediators between the Government and the Spaitaensana The Government, however, refuses mediation until the Spartaflusans have been evicted from the newspaper offices and other public buildings, —its NX Cable Assoc
