Quarterly returns for the Stratford Court are now available. Mr. W Fres man, clerk, notifies there were 12 sittings and 45 civil eases were heard, the amount involved totalling £528 and recovered £359. Criminal charges were heard against 31 mnlea and 9 females. Stratford Boroncli Council has delayed the ordinary monthly meeting one week, consequently there will be no sitting on Monday evening.
After a long spell through contracting ; nfluenza, Constable Tiznrd has resumed duties. He was laid low with the complaint whilst journeying to Auckland on police business.
