' New York, Jan. 6. Dispatelies from Archangel say that the Americans- drove back the 'Bolsheviks near Kadish after desperate fighting.
American officers report that the Bolsheviks mutiliated American soldiers.— Aus.-NZ. Cable Assn. New York, Jan. 8. The United Press Berlin correspondent states that although Bolshevism is generally an intellectual movement, unattended by violence, it is growing slowly, due to several causes, nameiy, Russian agitators spending money and spreading propaganda freely among German workmen, and the growing fear of the extent to which capitalism intends to exploit Germany through want of, employment and food.—Aus.-N.Z. RETURN OF TROOPS FORECASTED. Received Jan. 7, 5.5 p.m. Washington, Jan. 6. The Philadelphia Ledger reports that the United States haa decided not to interfere further in Russia. A return of the American troops already m the Archangel district is forecasted.—Aus. N.Z Cable Assoc BRUSILOFF AND KUROPATKIN KILLED. BOLSHEVIKS ROUTED AT KAMA 35,000 PRISONERS TAKEN. Received Jan. 7, 9.30 p.m. Stockholm, Jan. 0. General Brusiloff is reported to have been killed at Moscow, and Kuropatkin to have been murdered at Omsk.
A correspondent states that the Bolsheviks were routed at Kama river, losing 35,000 prisoners and a great quantity of booty.—Reuter
