WEATHER REPORT.

FOR DECEMBER, 1918. (Recorded at Pukekura Park Meteorological Station; Altitude 160 ft.) As in the preceding month the weather conditions throughout December continued chilly and unseasonable with cold nights. Fresh to chilly and variable high-pressure winds, with low temperatures, blew on 20 days, rendering the weather extremely unseasonable during the first midsummer months. Rain fell on 12 days, 2 points (100 to Inch) on Gth; 237 points on 28th; total, 7.01 in. Wind: North 1, south 12, south-east 1; southwest 11; west 6 days.
