A DANGEROUS PLOT. REVEALED AT COURT-MARTIAL Received Jan. 4, 5.5 p.m.
• London, Jan. 2. Evidence m to a supposed plot at Wicklow and Wexford was given at I Dublin at the court-martial of John 'Gallagher, an hotel bookkeeper at Bal tingtess, who was charged with being in possession of documents containing information useful to the enemy. The prosecution quoted a document detailing the procedure whereby on the receipt of orders to strike a battalion headquarters should be established at Baltinglass, which would be in touch with brigade headquarters; also that the police barracks, railway and post office should be seized, volunteers seizing similar places at Wicklow and Wexford. [The doeoment included a plan for the destruction of the great southern and western main roads, by digging trencher every half mile; also the destruction of bridges, rolling stock, flax and corn, and the erection of barricades.
