London Jan. 2. Butter: A record shipment of 70,000 boxes lias been landed from Argentina, and other large shipments are close at hand- It is expected tiie butter ration will be increased in tie middle of February,
Cheese: The position is unchanged, supplies being fairly plentiful. Sugar: Granulated, 57s 9d Wheat and Flour: The market is quiet, and quotations are unaltered.
Oats: Market firm, little offering. La Platas oil spot are quoted at 63s {& Beans and Peas: Market quiet at full late rates.~-jVus.-NZ. Cable Assoc.
