PACKING AND MARKETING FRUIT.

For some time the New Zealand Fruitgrowers' {Federation has been recommending that an expert should be sent to America to observe the methods of packing and marketing fruit, and to obtain any information helpful to the industry generally. The Minister for Agriculture said to-day that a well-qualified officer of the horticulture division would visit America for that purpose. It was expected that this investigation would prove very beneficial to the fruit industry-
