CHRISTOEUB.CH FIGURES. Christchurca, Dm. 31. in the Christcliurch registration dis-1 trict for 1918 there was a decrease of ISO births, as compared with 1917 There were 2138 births in 1917, against 1942 in 1918. The number of deaths slvows an increase of 37S There were i 097 in 1917 and 1454 in 1918. The marriages show a decrease of twelve, there being 711 in 1617 and 699 in 1918. The deaths for the last 4 months of the two years were:—September, me, 1«3; 1917, 36; October, 116, 9J; November. 410, 71; December,' 170, 107
