Senator Reed added that America could never consent that even Britain or Franco should order the American armies to battle in Siberia, Italy, or other countries divided by history and aspirations from America. It was impossible ito allow them to influence America's destiny.

Mr Ta.fi pointed out that President Wilson had greater influence in Britain than British princes. As the result of President Wilson's influence, Mr Lloyd George and M. Clemenceau had now agreed to consider the League of Nations.
