THE NEW GOVERNMENT^ CROWN PRINCE'S SON ICBDNAPPIT - Received Jan. i s 7.45 p.m. New York, Dec. 31. A New York Times' Berlin message reports that Haase, Bartli, and Dettmann have returned to the Cabinet. The impression Is that the majority Socialists will form the new Government. The Times' correspondent at Geneva says a Berlin correspondent informs him that Prince Wilhelm, the ex-Crown Prince's eldest son, lias been kidnapped by Prussian monarchist officers at Potsdam, and is being kept hidden, the efforts of the Berlin Government to discover his whereabouts being unavailingThe hopes of the Prussian Junkers centre round the young Prince. Being only 13 years of age, the boy cannot legally act, nor can anyone renounce his rights to the Prussian throne for him. The monarchists hope to be able to produce the Prince at an opportune moment,— Times Service. Received Jail. 1. 7.50 p.m. Copenhagen, Dec. 31. Berlin reports that the Central Council, lias appointed Noske, Loebe, and Wiasell as members of the Cabinet, replacing Haase, Dittman, and Barth, who resigned. Schiedemann becomes Foreign Minister,- Noske Minister of Military Affairs, and Wissell Minister of Social and Political Affairs.—United Press.
OCCUPATION OF BERLIN, HINDENBURG WILLING FOR BRITISH TO ENTER. Received Jan. 1, 7.45 p.m; London, Dec. 80. Reports from Germany, state that von Hindenburg has telegraphed to industrial Magnates that he will be willing to see British troops occupy Berlin.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assoc. BOLSHEVISM BREAKS LOOSE. MINERS PLUNDERING AND KILLING. REPUBLIC DECLARED IN SILESIA. Received Jan. 1, 7.45 p.m. London, Dec. 31. The Daily Express' Berlin correspondent states that Bolshevism has broken loose in Silesia. The miners forced the proprietors to sign all sorts of documents. One agreement involves the distribution among the mindrs of four millions sterling. The miners are pillaging and killing, and have declared a Bolshevik Republic. There is evidence that Bolshevik propaganda is spreading in Westphalia.— United Service. .

Tlis Daily Chronicle's Geneva correspondent states that the Spartacusers in Bavaria are very active. The} possess innciune-guna and plenty of ammunition purchased with the money of the Prussian Bolshevik*. The Spkrtacusers are most bitter against Herr Eisner, and are openly preparing to overthrow him. The Centre party in Bavaria is intriguing to place Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria on the Throne. Prince Rupprecht is now entrenched in one of the mad King Ludwig's mountain castle?, which is surrounded by a bodyguard of several hundred royal officers. A MONARCHIST PLOT. TO SEIZE ARSENAL AND ARREST SOVIET. Received Jan. 2, 1.50 a.m. London, Dec- 31. The Daily News' Munich correspondent states that a monarchist plot, which was centred at Munich, has been discovered, and forty arrests made, including influential officers. Received Jan. 1, 11.40 p.m. London, Dec. 31 'Reports from Berlin state that league of German men and women has been formed for the protection of tlie ex-Kaiser's life, and appeals to diplomats and ex-Kaiser's former advisers to provide information for permitting publication of a White Book proving that the ex-Kaiser was not personally responsible for the war.
