GREAT VICTORY FOR COALI,TIOMISTS. 'ME. ASQUITH DEFEATED. AS WELL AS PROMINENT LABOR LEADERS. Received Dec. 29, 5.5 p.m. London, Dec. 27 The elections have resulted in an overwhelming majority for the Coalitionists. *

Mf- Asquith was beaten at East Fife, and others defeated are Sir John A. kimon, Mr. Ramsay Mac Donald, Mi\ Herbert Samuel, Mts. Pankhurst, Mr. Philip Snowden, and Mr. Arthur Henderson.

Those elected include Mr. Lloyd George, Sir Eric Geddes, and Sir Albeft Stanley'.

Most of the women candidates wete defeated.

The Sinn Feiners captured the majority of the Nationist seats.
