(Stratford branch.), report as follows: Our stock yard sales were resumed oil December 10, after a long spell 'due to the epidemic. On Tuesday, December 10, we bad a full yarding at our Stratford saleyarda. The dairy pens also were well nlled. Everything was cleared at satisfactory prices, dairy stock selling remarkably well. Next sale at Stratford, Tuesday, January 7. At the sale held on December 10, store cows realised £5 15s, £7 to £9 17s; springing cows, £l2 to £l7 10s; cows and calves, '£B to £9; calved heifers, £ll to £l3 10s; empty heifers, £8 5s to £7 ISs; calved cows, £3 to £ss; yearling heifers, £3 18s 6<T to £4 12s 6d; yearling steers, £4 5s to £5 10s; bullocks, £11! 10s; three-year steers, £9 to £9 10s; bulls, £y to £7 ss; springing heifers, £lO 5s to £l4 10s. At the Rtatau yaiads on the I3th December, we had a medium yarding. Most of the stock was quitted under the hammer, or immediately afterwards, at ruling values. Yearling heifers realised £3 16s 6d to £4 12s fid; 2|-year steers, £S 7s to £9 15s; 2-year empty Sellers, £5 15s to £6 7s; store cows, £5 5a to £9; springing heifers, £7 to £8 10s-, bull, £7 10s; fat heifers sold at £9. At the Kohuratalii yards on Monday) December 16, we held our adjourned sale. We had a full yarding, parties larly of cattle. We quitted evarything except one pen of two-year steers.
