RETURNING SOLDIERS.
ARRIVAL OF TARANAKI MEN, A number of Taranaki soldiers, who arrived by a transport which reached Wellington on Wednesday, reached home by last night's mail train. The men who came to New Plymouth ware given ft cordial reception- There was a large crowd at the station, and the Citizens' Band played 'Home, Swoc'U Home," as the train arrived at tho platform. His Worship the Mayor (Mr. 0. 11. Burgess)) and the deputy-chairman of tlw Patriotic Committee (Mr, ,T. W. Clianey) were present to welcome t'.ie men. The large "Welcome Home" sign was hung up at the station. Following is the list of the men who came to TaraimldT—
