CANTERBURY* GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKET. Christchureh, Dec. 17. Some cutting of early, oatj has already taken place, and generally the crops are good. The demand from the North Island for chaff has eased off, and a shipment recently sent to Wellington met with a glutted market, consequently prices are easier. It is probable that business in the new potato crop will open earlier than usual, and that offers will be made soon after the New Year. DAIRY PRODUCE, J3TC.
