December 19. —Baden Powell, s.s., 174 tons, Johnston, 10.30 a.m., from Wellington, TELEGRAPHIC shipping. ARRIVED. Wellington, December 19.—■ Hula, 8.30 D-iu., from New Plymouth. DEVON LEAVES WAITARA. Tho Devon (Federal atid Shire Line), which has been at Waltara since Saturday owning to load about 30,000 freight carcases of beef, left the roadstead about 0 a.m. to-day to go to Wellington to continue loading. Tho vessel Is set down to leave Wellington finally lor Egypt on January 4. THE BADEN POWELL. The Baden Powell, which arrived yesterday, brought about 80 tons of cargo from Wellington, and load? 400 or 500 cases of meat before returning south. THE CORINNA. The Corinna was scheduled in leave Dtmedin yesterday to come to New Plymouth, via South Island ports. The vessel discharges, and loads cheese for Wellington and from the latter port returns for more cheese. THE KAMO. The Union Company's Kamo Is to load produce for New Plymouth at Lyttelton next week, but the day of her arrival is not known. AUXILIARY LAUNCH NORSEMAN. The auxiliary launch Norseman, which Wis brought up from Wellington earlier In the year, has been on the beach for about Ave months undergoing a thorough overhaul. She is new in the water again refitting, and her sails were being bent to-day. The vessel will. It Is understood, be used for fishing or for the coastal trade to Mokau and other river ports, THE WAIMEA. The Waimea is due here on Sunday from Greymouth with a load of Blackball coal, which she will discharge the following day POM SYDNEY ARRIVES, Whakatane, Doc. 19. The Port Sydney arrived this morning from Sydney direct, bringing 31 passengers. All landed here. The majority left for Botorua In motor-cars. The passengers Include Mr. Hlslop, Under-Secretary of Internal Affairs, and his wife. The loading of meat has commenced, and Is expected to take three days. NAVUA RELEASED FROM QUARANTINE. Wellington, Dec. 19. The Navua, from 'Frisco, was released from quarantine this morning.
