THE EMPIRE.TYRONE POWER IN "A MODERN' LORELEI" TO-NIGHT. The Lorelei was a beautiful siren who lured unwary travellers on to the rocky coast of the island where she and her nymphs held sway. She sat on the rocks singing a seductive and al'uring song, seeing in her magic mirror the traveller dashed to pieces on the sharp rocks below. The story as unfolded in this beautiful picture is that of a modern and innocent Lorelei, who unwittingly calls forth the love of the men around her, arousing jealousy, hatred, passion and violence. She too lures $ stranger to her little island of the sea, but instead of being dashed to pieces the girl rescues him from the waves, and learns,.the true meaning of love —her dreams'come true. The picture is beautifully, produced with many scenes of mytholigic nymphs- that arc picturesquely beqjrtiiful. The screening nights are to-night, Friday and Saturday, with a matinee Saturday afternoon. . EVEBtBOpiY'S.
