TENNIS.
The annual meeting of the South Taranaki Club was held on Monday evening, Mr- C. W. Curtis presiding over u good attendance. The .ejection of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. C W. Curtis (ve-eleeted); vice-presidents, Messrs A. S. H. Hodge (re-elected)) and A. B- Burrell; treasurer, Mr. H. A. Brunette; librarian, Mr. F..eJilson (re-elect-ed) : auditor, Mr. R. S. Sage. Messrs F. J. Boase, A- T. Peters, E .A. Pacey, 0. ). Trenton, and J. Westaway were elected to the vacancies on .the committee. Votes of condolence were passed to tkt> relatives of the late Messrs D Ryan and J. Ourrin. It was resolved that a letter of congratulation be sent to Servant J. G. Grant, V.C., and also Ms relatives It was agreed that members returning from tjie front be given free membership v.ntil the end of the financial year 1920.—Star.
