PUBLIC NOTICES. NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS, 1018-1919. TN view of the possibility of the present railway resources being taxed to the utmost capacity to meet requirements of passenger traffic during the coming Christmas and New Year Holiday Season, it is desirable that persons that are in a position to do so should travel prior to or after the immediate holiday period, so as to leave the available accommodation at that time to those people who are bound to time by business or employment. Merchants and others are reminded that it will be necessary to curtail goods trams in order to meet requirements o f passengers. It is therefore desirable that as far as possible goods for conveyance by rail should be despatched before the holidays commence. BY ORDER. TARANAKI ELECTORAL DISTRICT.
