THE I.W.W. INQUIRY.
JUSTICE STREET'S 4IEPORr. THE POLICE EXCULPATED. SCULLY DENOUNCED. ;.. Eeceived Dee. 17, 1.35 a.m.' "''' '*' Sydney, Dec; lfl. In his I.W.W. report, Mr. Justice Street finds that the charges pf nusconduct against the police were not proved. The evidence raised no suspicions that the alleged misconduct occurred, and 40 fresh facts were elieited raising a doubt regarding the guilt of the convicted men. Scully impressed Mr. Justice Street as a criminally-inmded man of a dangerous type, treacherous„and quite unscrupulous. There is little doubt that he 'ttos far more deeply implicated in any criminal conspiracy oauso and incendiarism than he admits.—Aus -N.Z. Cable Assoc.
