LENIN AND TROTSKY. , IN OPPOSITE CAMPS. Stockholm, Dec. 14. The Swedish naval attache at Petrograd has been arrested. A message says that the Bolshevist leaders heatedly discussed the question of abandoning the entire Soviet regime. Lenin favored its abandonment, while Trotsky opposed it, and the latter secured a small majority for holding out. Latest advices from Kief! state that the Don Cossacks- defeated the Bolsheviks in a two days' battle at Novochopersk, taking 1100 prisoners and 21 guns. |
