A Svdney cable records the death «fr the Rev. Thomas Boseby, formerly Con-; gregational minister at Ducedin. ° At last night's meeting of the Borough Council a resolution was carried expressing sympathy with Mr. E: Dockrill (an ex Mayor of New Plymouth) in the death of his son.
Mr. W. Hooker, of Voreltown, hai received a cable from hm son, Gunner H. Hooker, stating tluijt.. he, ,"» well again, and will probably be sailing for New Zealand in January. Among the passengers who landed from the Devon at Waitivraoa Sunday was Mr. A. It will be remembered that the Waitemata (8132 tons, Union Steam Ship Co.l was torpedoed ifl the Mediterranean Sea last July, wfih no loss of life.
