■n 'AUCKLAND SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ► v Auckland, Dec. I<J John A. Arnold was found guilty of an aggravated assault on his wife at Alfriston, and was sentenced to seven years' reformative treatment. Mr. Justice Cooper said the accused was subject to an ungovernable passion. The Prisons Board would" determine whether he could be released ibefore the end of his term without risk of his committing a similar crime. Florence Frances Hull was admitted to probation for two years on a charge of bigamy. The offence occurred when the accused's husband was in camp. The husband, on being demobilised, forgave her, and took her back, together with a child born to tho other man.
