INTERNEES AT FEATHERSTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Dec. 14. Somes Island, being required fay the Health Department, the German prisoners interned, some 300 all told, were removed today to Foatherston Camp, where they will remain until peace is signed. The prisoners, who Welcomed the idea of a change, were removed from the island on the steamer Duchess, without the public being aware, were landed at Petone wharf and marched to the station, where they were entrained. They will be railed right to Featherston Camp and quartered in huts within the barbed-wire enclosure. , THE STRANDED DORSET Wellington, Dec. 14. Last evening the southerly breeze, which during the day bad caused tlie suspension of the unloading of the Dorset, dropped, and lightering recommentd and continued all night. About 909 tons of cargo had been pit out up to last night. If all goes well another attempt will be made at midnight to-night to tow the Dorset off on the top of high water. The vessel used her own engines at noon yesterdav in an endeavor to get free of the sand, but was not successful. DORSET STILL FAST. Wellington, Last Night. There is no change in the position of the Dorset. Work stopped owing to bad weather on Saturday, but will be resumed to-day. Another attempt may be made to-night to re-float the vos3ol
