HIDE AND TALLOW REPORT. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows; We held our fortnightly sale of hides, tallow and oddments last week, when we offered a medium-sized catalogue. Prices for heavy. ox hides and for superior lines of calfskins .were on a par with those of last- sales', rates. Other hides declined from -3d to Id. Tallow showed a decline of 3s to 4s ,per cwt. Following is the range of .prices: Hides.—Ox heavy, OJcl to 13d; medium, did to 12d; light, Sid .to lOJd; Cow, heavy Did to l(Md, medium 8 3-8 d to j load, light S7-Sd to 10|d; cut, slipy and inferior, 6d to 9 3-Sd;, bull stag, 5 7-8 d to |Bd; yearlings, 7 3-Sd to 10 7-Sd; calf, superior, 17d to 23} d, medium to good 12|d to lSd, damaged 2d to lCd.
