STOCK SALES. BUBNSIDE. Dunedtn, Tlec. 11. At Eurnslde 261 fat cuttle were yarded. The quality generally wa9 much above the average. Prices declined 20s to 30s i>er head. Extra prime bullocks, £23 10s to £27; show bullocks, £33; prime, £l9 to £23; medium, £lO 10s to £lB 10s; light unfinished, £ls upwards; extra prime cows Mid heifers, £lB 10s; prime, £l3 10s to £ls; medium, £ll to £l2 10s. The sheep pensed numbered 1772, and were principally shorn Prices were firm at late rates Extra prime shorn wethers, 42s to 455; prime, 3Rs 6d to 41s; mediuni, 34s to 375; light, 313 to 33s Gd; extra prime shorn ewes, to light and aged, 28s;' woolly wethers, 43s to 41s 3d; prime, 35s to 38s; medium, 30s to 335; 555; extra prime woolly ewes, 58s to 595; good, light and aged, 28s; woolly 43s to 35s to 435. There were 113 lambs penned. The quality was not very good. Prices were firmer by 2s per head. Best, 2Ss to 31s 9d; others, 22s to 265. A pood yarding of pigs met keen competition. Prices were very Arm. ADDINGTON. Christchurch, Dec. 11. The sales at Aldington have resumed their ordinary character, store stock again being admitted There was o fairly large yarding today, of cattle and pigs. Store sheep, which consisted mainly of wethers, were in keen demand at firmer rates The offering of lambs was rather smaller than the week before, and prices were somewhat firmer. The yarding of fat sheep comprised eifht races, and the market throughout was a little below last week's, and at the end the demand fell away altogether. Fat cattle made up a large mixed yarding, including a good many unfinished animals, for which graziers were buyers The markot was, if anything, rather below the previous week's rates. There was a large yrrdlng of store cattle, mainly dairy types; and ranging from fifteen months to two and a half years, arid they Were 'dull of sale. There were very large entries of both fat and store pigs, and a number of sheep pens had to be used to accommodate the overflow. Both fats and stores were easier. • Fat lambs.—Extra prime, to 37s 6d; prime, 26s Cd to 30s Od; lighter, 22s Gd to 20s. Store Shoep—Four-tooth ewes, to 33s 8d; lound-roouth ewes and lambs, 15s lid to 21s, all counted; two-tooth wethers 24s 3d to 28s 4d: two and four-tooth wethers, "Cs lid to 33s 6d; four and six-tooth wctlier«, 28s to S3s M; sound-mouth merino wethers, 18s lid to lfis; woollv ewe hoggets, to 25s .Id; woolly mixed sex hoggets, 28s 3d; woolly welher hoggets, 26s to 325.
