ANOTHER, SLTP REPORTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. , Taihape, Dec. 10. Torrential rains falling along the Main Trunk line north of Taihape brought down a slip on the railway between Ngarukelm and Hihitahi, into which a long, empty train of trucks ran. The cow-catcher was struck by a tree trunk, derailing tV engm* and soni* trucks. The . Auckland express was delayed several hours- A gang of men with picks were employed on the scene, and, after working all night, they had the line cleared by 9 o'clock this morning, enaW'ng all the train service to run as usual. During the last 24 Hours the weather exneriencefl lins been of a most severe and unseasonable character, Torrential rains are falling in the Taihape district, and there is heiivv snow on the higher altitudes in the Waimarino district- A gale of wind is blowing in both cases.
