At the Technical Hospital all patients are progressing favorably, whilst, with one exception, those at. Mclrow House are making satisfactory improvement, the exception being classified "serious,* and at main hospital four "serious 1 ' cases arc listed. Mr J?. Wafer stated that iie .only, knew of one serious ease at Douglas, and that the eastern town generally was doing very well. ALONG THE COAST, ■ Matters , along the coast show a decided improvement, thanks to the splendid organisation, TataraimaUa and Oakura appear to be practically dear, having escaped very lightly. In the Oka to Hospital there aw seven cases, only one of which is giving any anxiety- It is expected to close this hospital on Thursday, so „:o ncv? cases are being admitted here-. Any cases that crop up will ho treated privately at their homes, tho serious eases being taken to the New Plymouth Hospital. By Thursday it is expected that ii:t of the eases, will be able to be removed to their homes, and the seventh patient may have to be removed to the Hospital. Nurse Ilasell, v;ho has been matron of this hospital, has returned t-.> New Plymouth, and Miss Casf-ie, V.A.1)., >s in charge, assisted by Miss vVillir.uis, of New Plymouth. At Puniho there are now 15 patients in the hospital, and 17 convalescents in .the school, which is hems utilised as a convalescent home. The Hisses Hill (3), who have had rVarge of both these hospitals since their inception, have had a strenuous time. At the Pimiho Native hospital there have been three deaths.
