HOSPITAL REPORT. ' N0 DEATHS YESTERDAY* At the New Plymouth. Hospital yestWday there were 8 admissions—3 from Waitara, 3 Uruti, i New Plymouth, 1 OpunaJce. Eleven patients were discharged to Kawaroa, and 6 to East End, leaving 92 in hospital. No* death occurred at the hospital yesterday. There are now 22 convalescing at Kawaroa and the same number ■ at. There a* young man named Percy Hirst died today, and at least two others are dangerously ill. A special request has been scut out for trained nurses. Dr. Botop, lato of tlie military service, is doing splendid work among the people afflicted. ' MESSAGE TO SEAMEN., Dunedin, Last NightMr. Young, general secretary of tht New Zealand Seamen's Union, has Bent the following cablegram to the Seamen's Union:—'"Auckland excepted, the New Zealand ports are now clean of the epidemic. Safe to man for Wellington, Manuka and KToeraki, hut see living quarters are thoroughly cleaned out With strong disinfectant." POSITION IN DUNEDIN. Dunedin, Last Night. During the last 24 hours two were admitted to the hospital; and there were three deaths. Dr. Bowie is convinced the trouble has practically ended. The patients remaining in hospital are 185. Only 17 are dangerously ill.
