NEW YEAR TOURNAMENT. A meeting of representative*- at the F!t?.roy, New T'lvSth and West End Bowling Clubs was held m evening, and decided to ho d the usual Wew Tear full rink tournament. Messrs. A K Smart, W; ealey and ,1 D Sole tvere annotated a committee, with Mr. 0. N. Flrtn as secretary... Entries close with «»e secretary P 0 Box 152, on Tuesday, December 24, at 8.30 o'clock, the entry fee being 10s per rink. Silver buttons will be awarded the winners. The tournament to He open to r all . "«I» afflicted to:the TaranaM Bowling Centre.. Finals are to be played on New Tear's Day and the .following day. The saroea w»l start-Bharp at 9 o'clock a.m. each day and will be sixteen heads up, except the nnals, which Is to be 21. Entrants will be divided Into sections, each, section to And lis own winner. Ties to sections •will play off seven heads up. The rules as in rogue at the Taranakl Bowling Centre's annual tournament will be observed where applicable.
