At a meeting today of the Federation of New Zealand Patriotic War Relief Societies a resolution was passed regarding the repatriation of soldiers: That the federation regrets that the Government cannot see» its way to carry out tlie resolution of the board re the (capitalisation of improvements. A resolution was also passed that any gift for the benefit ot soldiers given during the lifetime of the donor or after death should be exempt from.stamp duty.
