I bolsheviks easily overthrown. MORE TERRIBLE WAR PLANNING. LARGE FUNDS FOR PROPAGANDA. Received Dec. 5, 7.45 p.m. New York, Dec. 4. Mr. Dosch Fleurot, in a message from Berlin, states: "I interviewed Herr Bauschild, the German Consul-General at Moscow, who said it would not take much to overthrow the Bolsheviks. lie pointed out that the reign of terror was still being carried on, and said the Bolsheviks were planning a bloodier and more terrible war than the one just ended, and that, even if overthrown, the Bolsheviks had trraiendous funds, which he thought they would employ to spread their propaganda ideas throughout the world,"—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. PEACE WANTED. PREPARED TO MAKE CONCESSIONS Stockholm, Deo. 3. M. LitvirtofT (former Bolshevik Ambassador to Britain), in an interview, said _he was empowered to represent Russia if Britain proposed negotiations. He did not know what the Allies wanted from Russia. Russia wanted peace, and was prepared to make concessions on all questions except international matters. It was impossible for Russia to pay her debts immediately, but a moratorium might be arranged whereby Russia would groat mining and commercial concessions and make its natural resources available.
LIBERATION OF LEMBERG. AN ASTONISHING STORY. London, Dec. 3. An English war corespondent who visited LemUerg tells an astonishing story of how schoolboys liberated tlie city from the Ruthenians. Four boys began the rising. They attacked a Rutlienian sentry and captured a stock of revolvers. Other boys joined and the fighting spread to the whole city. The boys got the upperhand by capturing machine-guns, and eventually seized the post office. The fighting lasted a fortnight. Finally Polish troops arrived and the Ruthenians. quitted the city.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assoc.
