STABILISING THE CURRENCY.
Received Not. 30, 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 28. The Press Bureau states that in view of the confused state of currency in northern Russia, the! British Government has decided to assist the Provisional Government there' in establishing a new rouble currency at a fixed rate of exchange, namely, forty roubles per pound sterling. Experienced British financiers have beeri appointed to supervise the control. An office of conversion has been established at Archangel— Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. and Reuter.
