THE BRUCE FUND.
We received £ls 9s 6<l yesterday to-, wards the fund for the relief of Mrs. Bruce and her four children, whose breadwinner was the first victim of the epidemic in New Plymouth. The target is £l5O, which will give the unfortunate destitute family a good start, and we hope subscriptions will continue to flow in until that figure'is attained.
