A QUEENSLAND TRAGEDY.
FOUR MEN KILLED MURDERERS FLEE TO TEE- BUSH Brisbane, Nov. 16. Tliomas Coolon. a well-known mine owner, after making his will, secured a rifle and shot dead four men named Bernard T-ompson, William Broom, Harold Smith and William Brown, who were working in various claims on the Mount Coolon goldsfields. Coolon told anotiher, man that he intended to shoot 5 or 6 more and then Ihimself. Coolon escaped into the bush and is still at large. He was recently engaged in litigation over the mines, ft is believed Ms mind has become unhinged.
