INGLEWOOD.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Inglewood, Xov. 15. A meeting, convened by the Mayor, was held and a strong committee appointed to take steps to combat the epidemic. Each home in the district is to be visited and a report made on the state of health of the inmates and what jhelp is required. The organisation work if i« full swing, and tho reports are to be considered at a meeting this eveningDr. Nutting is being consulted with a view to concentrating patients at the Town HaTi.
Nurse Bennett haa,j)laced her nursing home, containing eight feed* at the disposal of the committee. The latest death is that of Miss Margaret Johnstone, daughter of Mr. Aiex. Johnstone, of Maketawa, who has been seriously ill for a few days, and, passed away mis morning.
Ingiewood patiemm at Xew Plymouth Hospital are improving. An inhalation chamber is to be established here. The Mayor is in constant communication with the Health Department. There will "be no service in tho churches on Sunday, but an open-air service will be held in the Recreation Grounds at 3 o'clock.
