BOY KILLED BY MOTOR LORRY. | By Te]egraph.—Press Association. Maslerton, Nov. 14. A Lor, seven years old, named T. V. Cross, was killed in Queen Street, Masterton, yesterday afternoon. He was run over by a motor lorry during the peace celebrations. FATAL TRAMWAY ACCIDENT. Wellington, Nov. 14. Tliere was a fatal tramway accident last evening, resulting in the instant death of Alfred Thomas, a gasworks employee. Two cars were approaching the intersection of the lines from Island Bay and Kilbirnie in Kent Terrace. The Kilbirnie car somehow did not stop, and crashed into the other as it was approaching the points. Several passengers were thrown about. Thomas fell between the cars and was terribly crushed. No one else was seriously hurt. Both cars were pushed off the rails and suffered slight damage, but were soon put back and were able to proceed unaided. JtfOTOR CAR COLLISION. Wellington. Nov. 14. A collision between two motor-cars at Kilbirnie resulted in injuries to two men, W. Neiman and Sergeant O'Neill, necessitating hospital treatment. DEATH FROM INJURIES Nelson, Nov. 13. Henry fianraban, the carter' who was Injured at Maptia yesterday through a | dray falling over an embankment, died at the hospital this morning.
