DECLARED A REPUBLIC. Amsterdam, Nov. 12. The Plato Council at Vienna has adopted a Bill proclaiming German Austria a republic and part of the German Republic.—An-.-X.X. Cable Assn. London. Kov. 12. Advices from Vienna report the death of Dr. Adler, Uite Socialist Foreign Minister in the new Austrian Government. —Aus.-XX Cable Assn. PARTY FRICTION BOLSHEVISM AT WORK SPREADING TO SOUTH GERMANY London, Nov. 12. Although a Berlin wireless message announces a settlement of the trouble, the Telegraph's correspondent states that extreme friction prevails between Chancellor Kbert'a party and the extreme Independents. The former are opposed to Bolshevism, but Russian agitators are very active in Berlin and are urging the massacre of the middle classes on Russian lines. Although Ebert is master of the situation, it is difficult to foresee how long the Moderates will be able to control the Bolshevik elements.
Other reports indicate that there are Bolshevist tendencies in Southern Germany, where a number of small, independent republics are joining.—Times Service. CROWN PRINCE'S DEATH. Amsteram, Nov. 12. The Vaterland's frontier correspondent says that tlhe Crown Prince attempted to cross on Sunday morning but the sentry turned him back. He made another attempt early yesterday morning, and a fight ensued, in which the Prince was killed.Reuter. SOLDIERS' COUNCIL AT THE FRONT Amsterdam, Nov. 12. German main headquarters telegraphs that a soldiers' council was formed at the front without disturbance and conferred with Von Hindenburg on November 12.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assoc.
