JN compliance with the advice o£ the medical profession, I hereby request the public to, as far as possible, observe FRIDAY and SATURDAY of this week as close holidays. As the public must be enabled to secifre provisions, this notice does not apply to Grocers, Butchers or Bakers, who are requested to keep their premises open till 11 a.m. each day. All social gatherings, musical evenings, card parties, etc., should be completely discontinued. The holidays should be iitilised in cleaning up and disinfecting all homes and business premises. iC.
