Our troops are following up the retreating enemy, singing as they inarch, with flags on their rifles and gun limbew. The French and Flemish people are cheering them with rousing cries: "Vive FAnglaise!" It ia glorious autumn weather. The people of Tournai, who thad been living in cellars for weeks, wept out of their houses on Friday and gave the first Englishman a huge reception. Later came the patrol, and finally the British staff. There was a wonderful scene at the Romanesque Cathedral, when the bishop celebrated the Te D&uin.
