WEDDING.

GOLD6WQRTHY-BROWNE. On Wednesday a quiet but very pretty wedding was celebrated at St Mary's Church. New Plymouth, when Miss Georgina Browne, daughter of Mr O. W. Browne. JJ 5 .. and Mrs Browne, of Kenmare, Vogeltown, was married to Mr Leslie Gordon Goldsworthy, son of Mr and Mrs G. Goldsworthy, New Plymonth, the Rev. Archdeacon Evans officiating. The bride, who was given away by her fatiher, was gowned in ivory satin charmeuse, hand-embroidered and stitehed with floss silk, the sleeves and yoke being of guipure lace. She wore the customary veil and orange-blossoms, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of white lillies, roses, heath and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Eileen Browne, who wore a simple rose frock pleated from a yoke and stitched with blade, rose hat to match wreathed with black velvet pansies. She carried a sheaf of lillies and pink roses. In the absence of t)he bride's brother (who is on active service in France) Mr. F. Sattler acted as best man. After the ceremony the bridal party and relatives adjourned to the Hygenic Tea-rooms, where a dainty breakfast was served, and after the usual toasts had been honored the happy couple left per motor for the soutlh, where the honeymoon is to be spent, the bride travelling in a Wedgewood blue costume and black ninon hat relieved with forget-me-nots.
