There wa3 a large yarding of fat cattle, including a fair proportion of good quality bullocks and heifers. At the beginning prices were not as good as last week's, but subsequently competition was keener, and the sale ended with prices on a par with last week's high rates. Best bullocks, £23 to £25; extra. £26 to £3O 12s f.d; medium to good, £2O to £22; best cows and heifers, £l7 to £lB 10s; medium to good, £M 103 to £l6 10sothers, £n 10s up. Of the fat lambs entered a number were of small size, and this accounted for the lower rates. Best, 30s to 32s 3d; medium to good, 25s to 28s; others, 22s up. 1 here was a good yarding of pigs, which were cleared at prices about 10s to 15s p,-r head below last week's rates. A large yarding of stores was offered, and prices were on it par with last week's. v
