The price offered for cheese was. accepted, with one or two conditions that wore not likely to present'any diffl- \ culty. The price for butter was not accepted, and at the request of the pro> ducers he cabled to the- Imperial authorities stating the price they were prepared to accept. No answer had yet been se-; eeived, and he had cabled to the Hisjbl, Commissioner asking Mm to expedite the matter. It was impossible to make any. financial arrangemont until accepted or declined.
