WEDDING.

BAILDON—rOKDi A quiet but pretty wedding took place at the Whiteley Church, *e\v Plymouth, on •2911), when Alias Meta Ford 01 New Plymouth was married to Mr U. L. Baildon (eighth son of Mrs and the late W. Baildon) of Auckland. The Kev L. Richards officiated- The bride, who was given away by her father (Mr Harris Ford), looked very pretty in a becoming dress of white crepe-de-chine, trimmed with silk blond lace. She also wore a beautifully worked veil, with a wreath of orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of white azaleas, pink Japanese cherry blossoms and asparagus fern. Miss Phoebe Ford was bridesmaid, and wore a cream gaberdine costume, pink crepe-d«-chine bat lined with brown and carried a bouquet of pink Japanese cherry blossom. She also wore a wristlet watch, tiie gift of the bridegroom. Mr Norman Knox, of Auckland, was best man. , Mr Herbert White played the wedding march, as the bride entered the Church, and th» choir (of which the bride was a member) sang "The Voice That. Breathed O'er Eden."

After the ceremony the bridal party were entertained at morning tea at the residence of Mrs A- fray, after which Mr and Mr? Baildon left for their future home in Auckland, the bride "wearing a smart coat and pkirt of lilne cloth, champagne straw hat. trimmed witli pink velvet ribhon, and 'blue and pink spray of flowers. 5
