Firebelis to be vi'ng upon the request oi' the Mayor or Town Clerk, in peivou or writing, the bell to "lie rung 4 times for lii seconds wilh 30 seconds intervals between each ringing. 2. Horns to be blown as arranged previously. 3. The public demonstration to be hold on the day following tbo receipt of the news, and a public holiday to be observed on that day. 4. The demonstration to be held in Pnkekura Park or elsewhere, as arranged. 5. The committee to arrange with the heads of schools for ail the scholars to attend the demonstration. The recommendation was adopted provisionally, the committee being empowered to make any variation deemed necessary.
