(HOSTILITIES CEASE. London, Nov. 3. The Times stateß that tlie armistice was signed on Sunday afternoon, and fighting ceases on Monday.—Times Service. Amsterdam, Nov. 3. Vienna advices state that the annfetice has been concluded on the Italian front and hostilities have ceased.—Aus. Cable Assoc. LATEST MILITARY OPERATIONS. London, Nov. 3. An Italian official message states: The Ist Army entered into action yesterday and captured Monte Majo. The 6th Army continues its advance on the Asiago plateau, capturing numerous guns and prisoners. There was lively rearI guard fighting in the Sugana and Sismon valleys. The cavalry fighting reached the right bank of the Tagliamento. The number of prisoners and booty is increasing. A British-Italian official report states: We are well to the eastward of the Livenza river. The prisoners captured by tlie 10th Army exceed 15,000, and li>o guns were also taken. Of these 10,000 prisoners and over 100 guns were captured by the 14th British Corps. In the operations on the Asiago plateau the 48th Division took 200 prisoners.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. and Keuteri
