A BRITISH ALL OBJECTIVES GAINED.- ; . It . Nov. 1. Sir reports: The 2nd Army attaokeil tl/is southwest* ward of Audejoarde,, ( and captured all the objectives. About a thousand prisoners were taken. The aviation report states: —Our squadrons on October 30 displayed intense activity on the whole front. Over 3000 photographs were taken, and nearly 20 tons of bombs dropped. Our squadrons successfully attacked aerodromes, demolishing two hangars containing machines from a low altitude, and caused many casualties to the personnel of the aerodrome. Many casualties were also caused by machine-gun fire, stampeding horse transport. Air fighting, resulting greatly m our favor, v/as the outstanding feature'of the day Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
