MEETING OF -N.Z COUNCIL At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council the GovernorGeneral was elected patron and Mr F. Wilding (Christchurch) president. It was decided to resume the Plunket Shield matches on the lines laid down prior to the wax, provided that players in camp are eligible to play only in the home province.
