MOTOR CYCLE CLUB.

m MEETING IN NEW PLYMOUTH, A meeting in connection with the formation of a motor-cycle club in New Plymouth was held at the Soldiers' Club on Thursday evening. Mr. P. Barry presided, and explained that the committee appointed had decided to adopt rules on the lines of those of the Dunedin Motor-cycle Club. The name of theNeir Plymouth club, it was decided, should be the Star Motor-ercle Cltih. The rules in question were read. The main objects set out were the encouragement of motoring generally, tours, runi, competitions, club dinners, lectures, and disensssions, general meetings, etc., to assist and uphold the laws as to traffie and street progress, and to generally watch the interests of antomobilism with reference to proposed legislation; to brin? about, if possible, a better stat« of roads and bridges in the district; and to act in variou? other ways in the interests of ivembcrs.
