For a double market, there being no sale next week on account of the carnival holidays, the entry was a very moderate one at Addlngton yards to-day. The yarding of fat cattle was not more than ono week's supply, there were only 411 fat lambs as against 363 at the corresponding sale last year; and fat sheep occupied eight races, an average weekly yarding. There 'was. consequently a very Arm tone in the market, and all classes of fats showed in advance on the previous week, beef and mutton being especially dear. The few store sheep offered met with limited demand, and there was a,dull sale in store cattle, of which there was an unusually' good yarding. Store sheep: Souud-mouth ewes and lambs, 19s Id to 21s 9d, all counted; two and fourtooth 27s 4d to 33s lOd; four and six-tooth wethers, 42s;' merino wethers, ' 23s Id to 27s 6d; ewo hoggets, 3Gs; wether hoggets, 26s Id to 395. Fat. lambs: Extra prime lambs, to 355; prime lambs, 2'Js to 335; medium lambs, 25s to 28s 6d; lighter lambs, 20s to 24s Gd.
