ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A PEA RIFLE EXPLODES. Gore, Oct 31. William Latham, 55 years of age, a farmer and an old resident, when shooting rabbits this morning, the pea rifle exploded while he was getting through a fence. The bullet lodged above hi? right ear, and the man was found dead shortly after. A widow and ten of a* family are left, two sons being at the front.
